Madhu’s Story: On a mission, while Battling for every breath

Madhu Vyas, 65 years old, born and brought up in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India.

I am a trained Sitarist & singer but chose to be a homemaker (34 years). Proud mother of 2 amazing children.

For the last four years, I am on oxygen therapy. I require oxygen to support 24 hours. I started feeling dependent and inadequate. Also, I am advised to follow social isolation strictly. So minimal human interaction is part of my life.

Moreover, I suddenly lost my husband in the year 2018.

Between frequent hospital visits and the loss of my better half, I lost all hope in life.

With the grace of the Almighty, my willpower and my children’s support, I somehow managed to bounce back.

I have suffered the pains of chronic illness and the depression that it causes. With the advancing age life partners are often lost to fate.

It brings along painful loneliness and isolation.

I want to help such people with their suffering. To do so I share my life and suggestions effectively. So that maximum people can relate to it and benefit from it.

I am here to share my story, life learnings and the reforms I did to improve my life. The sole purpose of doing so is to add value to others so that they can also improve their quality of life.

“The most beautiful thing in the world is to build a bridge of hope over the sea of despair”

Madhu Vyas

I and my daughter, Dr Swati Vyas, are on a mission to help 10 million people with long-term oxygen therapy & breathing problems along with their family caregivers to cope & improve their quality of life without fear & confusion through Breathing Warrior Movement.
